The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the board results for class 10 and class 12 on July 22. Now, the board has released a notification regarding the compartment examination. The last date to apply for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and Class 12 compartment exams 2022 without a late fee is today, July 3

The board has issued the notification for the schools to provide the list of students who wish to apply for the compartment examination or want to give the exam to improve their performance. The CBSE has asked the schools to submit the list of students going to appear for compartment examination through the LOC form available at Pariskha Sangam official website. However, private candidates will have to fill the online form by themselves through the official website of board, cbse.gov.in

The notification also states that the students willing to appear for the compartmental examination will have to pay a requisite fee for the successful registration for the reappear exam. All the candidates will have to submit the application fee latest by July 30 after which they will need to pay the late fee

For students whose schools fall in India must pay a requisite fee of Rs300 till July 30 whereas the students appearing in examinations from outside India schools will need to pay Rs 2000/- to appear in the compartmental examination.

In case, any student fails to submit the fees on time, they will be given the last chance to pay the fees along with late charges till August 8. The late fee for all schools including those outside India is Rs 2000. The notification also gives exemption of fees to visually impaired students

CBSE Result 2022: As per the recent updates, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be closing the window to apply for verification of marks today. Students willing to apply for CBSE 10th 12th verification of marks will be able to apply on the official website - cbse.gov.in. However, the CBSE revaluation process will not end today, since the revaluation will be a three-part process, it will continue till August. Only the first part i.e., the window to apply for verification of marks of CBSE 10th 12th results will be ending today on 28th July 2022. 

To apply for verification of marks for CBSE result 2022, both class 10th 12th students have to pay Rs. 500 per subject. Earlier, the CBSE board announced the class 10th and 12th result 2022. To prepare the CBSE results, the board followed a 30:70 weightage criteria.

CBSE Class 10th Topper 2022:

This year, Mayank Yadav from Amity International School, Noida, topped the CBSE 10th board exam 2022 with 100% marks.

A total of 20,93,978 students took the CBSE 10th exam this year. Out of the total, 19,76,668 have successfully passed the exam. This year, girls performed better than boys by 1.41%.

As per the CBSE 10th result 2022, 2,36,993 students secured more than 90% marks while 64,908 students scored above 95% marks.

Further, CBSE issued a six-digit security PIN-based activation for students' DigiLocker accounts. The student-wise security PIN file has been given to CBSE affiliated schools in their DigiLocker accounts from where schools can download the same.

This year’s overall pass percentage is 94.4%, whereas last year it was 99.04% when the results were computed at the school-level and the board granted flexibility in the result tabulation process owing to difficulties posed amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the results of this year’s Class

10 examinations on Friday afternoon and 94.4% of candidates have passed the exams. While the nationwide pass percentage in the Class 10 examinations is lower this year than the previous year, a greater number of students have scored over 90% and 95%.

Last year, the pass percentage was 99.04% when the results had been computed at the school-level and the board had granted flexibility in the result tabulation process owing to the difficulties posed during the year amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Like the Class 12 board exams, this year the Class 10 results have been tabulated with 30% weightage given to the Term-1 examination and 70% weightage to the Term-2 examination in theory marks, and equal weightage to both terms for practical marks.

However, while the overall pass percentage is lower, a higher share of students has scored in the highest marks range of 95% and above. This year, 64,908 candidates or 3.10% of all candidates have scored 95% and above. Last year, 57,824 candidates or 2.76% had scored in the same range. Similarly, 2,36,993 candidates or 11.32% of the candidates have scored in the 90% and above range this year. This is up from 2,00,962 candidates or 9.58% last year.

In terms of overall pass percentage, Delhi in particular has witnessed a drastic drop. In 2021, it recorded a dramatic increase from the previous year’s 85.86% to 98.19%. This year, it has once again come down to an 86.55% pass percentage. Delhi East and Delhi West are among the poorest-scoring regions at 86.96% and 85.94% pass percentage, respectively. The region scoring lowest is Guwahati at 82.23%.

Girls have performed slightly better than boys with a nationwide pass percentage of 95.21%. Boys have recorded a nationwide pass percentage of 93.80%.
